A brief introduction to a Pranic Healing Session
During a session (which can vary in length averaging thirty to sixty minutes), I will never touch you; I will start by scanning your energy fields and any imbalances therein using my hands, but at a distance from you. I then choose a technique that is appropriate for your needs. This may include sweeping hand motion in front and behind the body.
There is a high likelihood that you will experience the relaxation response during the session. A feedback discussion will follow. People have many different responses to Pranic Healing. Some clients feel nothing at all. Others describe sensations of moving energy, deep relaxation, feelings of being supported and nurtured, or visions of images and colors. Some patients experience an emotional release such as tears; some have what they consider to be a spiritual experience or they may develop insight into specific areas of their lives.
As well, energy work may bring about the release of old emotions such as grief, sadness or anger as part of the healing process and may also bring forward outdated energetic patterns, including but not limited to, relationships with work, friends and family members. Clearing such imbalances in your subtle body may be reflected in your relationships with others and the world. Clients often find it appropriate to relax right after a session and allow the integration of the energy work to continue. Drinking water and relaxing allows the body to eradicate old toxins and energy and provide the body to integrate the energetic alterations.
